WINTER SEASON RECAP This past
winter season the Suspects continued with their winning streak, finishing with a best ever winter season record of 15-7.
Four different players reached double digit in goals scored (Chris West - 17, Richard Borenstein - 16, Patrick Arensberg -
15, Mike Biester - 10) and 6 players reached double digits in assists (Anthony Hare - 16, Andrew Baine - 15, Chris West -
15, Richard Borenstein - 14, Patrick Arensberg - 12, Eric Banach - 10). Goalie Rene Miranda continues his dominance as
the #1 netminder in the division, posting a 0.910 save percentage over 15 games. The
Suspects started the post season as the #1 seed. However the DD division was stacked with talented teams.
Only 5 points separated the Suspects from the #5 seed. In the quarterfinals the Sabres held on early, down just 1-2
in the first period. But the Suspects turned it on midway through the 2nd, scoring 6 unanswered goals. The semifinals was against the #4 seed Smell the Glove- a team that has faced the Suspects in
the past two finals. After two periods the game was tied 1-1. However the Suspects came up just short, losing
3-4. UPCOMING HOCKEY TOURNAMENTS
